HHIDS has been awarded first prize for Municipal Solid Waste Management under the category of Civil Society Organizations (CSO) for Karaikal Project at “The Eighth Regional 3R Forum – Asia and The Pacific” organized at Indore, Madhya Pradesh by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt. of India, United Nations Centre for Regional Development, and Environment Ministry of Japan from 9 -12 April, 2018. 45 member countries of the 3R Forum – Asia and The Pacific participated in the event. The Puducherry government nominated HHIDS for the award.
